Every week The Big Issue showcases the work of talented, marginalised individuals in our Street Art page in the magazine. Our contributors, who work with a range of creative charities, always say that art as an outlet for creative expression has been incredibly useful in recovery from mental and physical health problems, abuse, addiction, social exclusion and a range of other issues. Dreamlike, architectural, bold, witty and beautiful, at least half the profit from sales of prints of these exceptional artworks go to the artist. Street Art prints are available in sizes ranging from A4 to A2, and the range is updated regularly.

And this is a little-known fact, but The Big Issue’s founder and editor-in-chief John Bird has had a lifelong passion for art, creating striking artworks of his own. The John Bird art collection on The Big Issue Shop features highlights from his London exhibition which celebrated the magazine’s 26th anniversary, in 2017.
