The Soap Co.

The Soap Co. is an ethical luxury bath and beauty brand. It believes there doesn’t need to be a trade-off between award winning design, responsible living and social purpose.

All profits are reinvested into employing, training and supporting people with disabilities to build skills, confidence and independence. One bottle of hand wash sold creates one hour of employment, with a bath or body oil creating two hours. We currently employ more than 114 people across the country.

The Soap Co. also strives to reduce its impact on the environment and has recently launched its sulphate free and vegan, Eco & Bee Friendly collection.
To craft luxury products that give hope, challenge perceptions and create real opportunities for blind, disabled or otherwise disadvantaged people.

Meet Camilla

I came to CLARITY-The Soap Co. having worked for big corporations in many sectors and had also spent time abroad working for charities. Some of these charities didn’t have much commercial awareness and found themselves chasing after grant money, which could see their values somewhat compromised. I saw too much of this and felt that The Soap Co. offered a scalable opportunity to change the way people perceive charitable giving. It’s not about asking for donations, but about making luxury bath and body care products that people love, and in doing so create more jobs for blind, disabled or disadvantaged people in the UK.

More and more consumers are questioning what goes into the products they use. That’s why we make no compromises, why we aim for 100% transparency and why we choose ingredients based on what is truly functional - not what is just fashionable.
