Sweet Cavanagh

Sweet Cavanagh Jewellery is handmade in London by women recovering from eating disorders and addictions. Owned by the charity Free Me, Sweet Cavanagh Jewellery is both unique and powerful. The charity bridges the gap between those suffering and the limited services available, offering a safe space for its beneficiaries to get the support they need, break negative behaviour patterns and reduce relapse. Designing and creating each beautiful piece provides a therapeutic outlet for the women, reducing anxiety and building self-esteem. Furthermore, the program provides group therapy, private sessions with a nutritionist and help back into employment.
Sweet Cavanagh Jewellery is dedicated to providing support to women recovering from eating disorders and addiction.

Meet Ellie

Sweet Cavanagh Member, Ellie: Sweet Cavanagh has been the first step I have made for myself to confront my disorder and take ownership of my recovery. It's given me a safe space, where anything I want or need to talk about is welcomed and supported by like-minded women. It has challenged me to confront my anxieties each week and continue progressing with my recovery. Learning new skills and being in a creative space has been such a positive experience which has carried through to other areas of my life and given me a sense of myself again that I have been missing for a long time."
