Hi, I'm Abi, the Chief Exec of The Big Exchange. We were co-founded in 2019 by The Big Issue as a simple idea to re-address the issues in the financial system: to make it more inclusive and to make sure it made a positive impact on wider society and the environment for future generations. A simple idea, hard to execute. Possibly why nothing like The Big Exchange has been attempted before. While we are not a part of The Big Issue, they are our majority shareholder.

Launched in October 2020, The Big Exchange has made impact investing more accessible. It gives people access to investments that are rated for their positive impact on people and the planet; where the investments aim to make a financial return AND create a positive social and environmental echo.

We believe that individuals should be able to control where the money they save and invest is put to work. We aim to give you that control and change the perception of investing in the process.
