Daughters of the Ganges

Ethical fashion and sustainable creations from India
Daughters of the Ganges (DOTG) is a socially conscious brand that brings to you handcrafted and ethically created fair trade products from India. While DOTG has both craftsmen and women under their wing, they would like to focus their efforts on women artisans. They feel that by providing them with jobs, it will give them the opportunity to earn fair wages, lead dignified lives and have financial independence. It is their belief that investing in the development of women would result in gender equality, eradication of poverty, women empowerment and most importantly the development of communities in general. All DOTG products are WFTO certified and sourced from artisan communities that have passed on their skills through the ages and are keen to nurture their cherished traditions and crafts.
